Watershed - Winter cleanup of the Kate Gorrie Butterfly House

On Thursday, October 15th, a group of enthusiastic SBGC volunteers gathered at the Watershed for the winter clean-up of the Kate Gorrie Butterfly House. As part of this Civics project, we put the Butterfly House to bed and weeded the rain garden. 38 monarch caterpillars and 2 chrysalis' were transplanted to the swamp milkweed in the rain garden. The Watershed was very grateful and already asked the SBGC to return for Spring planting!
