Rockingham in December

Our December Civics Project brought us back to Historic Rockingham where our volunteers decorated the house for their annual Candlelight Tour under the guidance of Lisa Flick, the Site Director. The Candlelight Tour for 2015 had a theme of how American Christmas customs evolved through our history, with Rockingham periods as a backdrop. Thanks to the help of our SBGC volunteers Rockingham was decorated to depict 6 eras in 6 different rooms; Higgins, Berrien, Cruser, Van Pelt, quarry workers, Washington Headquarters Association
